Holiday Recount.

The second to last day of the holidays,on Saturday two friends of mine

Jayden and Izac came to my house and asked if I wanted to go to the skate park.

I told them to wait outside my house so I could ask my Mum if I could go to the skate park and get changed, and get my scooter.I came back outside and said to Jaden and Izac that my Mum said that I could come to the skate park with them but she said I had to be home before 6:00.6:00. Jaden had a skateboard to ride,Izac had a scooter to ride and I had a scooter to ride.

When we got to the skate park we put our bags down and we started doing tricks,we played a game of scoot,where there's one person who does a trick,if the other person fails the same trick that the other person does than they will get a S,if they get all the letters that spell scoot than they lose.

It was starting to get late and the sky started get dark Izac said let's have one more game of scoot than we will go.

We had one more game of scoot,5 minutes later we all were on the last letter and I was the one who had to do a trick,I did a 3,60 and i landed it but Izac didn't so I won the game.After the game was done we picked up our bags and went back home.

Ripper Rugby

Today we had Ripper Rugby with a coach from Varcity.His name is Matt.Today when we were on the field he told us to hop in a square so we could play a warm up game called Ball Tag.After the warm up game we got into lines of four on one side and the other.

Matt told us to get into lines so we could practice our passing.Matt told us how to run at the right time when the ball is coming, We had to wait half a second to run and catch the ball when it’s coming.

After we practice our passing, Matt gave us a belt and and two tags so we could play a game of Bull Rush.

Taki had to be in the middle and the others had to run pass.

If Taki ripped 1 of the person's tag of than the person he got has to be in with him.After a while everyone got in except for Miami.Miami was the last one to run,When he ran across he got caught from Mata.

Deadpool

.Deadpool is a Superhero that has a black and red costume.

Deadpool has two powers that is, Healing Factor and Teleportation.

When Deadpool was first developed, the similarities to DC’s Deathstroke were so uncanny that they decided to name him Wade Wilson as a joke.

Wade Wilson has a daughter named Eleanor.He was seduced by a woman called Carmelita Camacho.Deadpool found out he had a daughter but only after Carmelita had been killed.

Stardome trip.

Today on a sunny day the 12 November 2015 the seniors from glenbrae school went on a trip to Stardome. We went on two green buses the classes that went to stardome was room 10,9,8 and 7 but the other classes in the juniors is going the next day on Friday the 13 on our trip when we got to stardome we got out of the bus and went to go and sit on the nice green grass to eat our food because it was morning tea.

After morning tea room 7 and room 8 went to go and play on the flying fox but some of them wet to go and play on the 5 wheel octopus well we were playing i said to the others if they wanted to play some tackling game called bull rush.After our play time it was my class room 10 and room 9s turn to go inside and learn about space in the space room after that a man called us to go in the a room with lots of seats to sit on.When we went in our uniform colour turned the colour green  me and my friends were the first ones inside the room so I said lets go to the back seats so then we went and sat there well we were in the room all of the lights turned of and a big half a circle screen was right on to of us and when it turned on it was space and it felt like we were actually in space in a rocket ship.

After in the room we got out of the stardome place and went in the green bus and then we went of back to school.The End

I see the green grass 

I see green leaves 

Mrs Tofa tells us to look at the tree's 

when it's morning tea we sit on blue seat's 

we look at the heaven's nice blue sea.

In SSR we read our books we look at the time and drink fizzy lime 

I go to GBS when it's lunch 

I have a rest when I spell test it almost like webs. 

When people call me cool I act like a fool 

when I fix my bike I use my own tool's. 

Sometimes I rhyme I think of the sky. When people tease me they start to hate me. 

I love sushi 

I am screwy but people start to think that 

I'm lazy. I play games you look so lame we should be friends to the very end.

Science day

Today at school our whole school had science day in each and every class. Our class room ten went to room eight for science.What I learnt about science. In Mrs Mopana's class she told us first to get into our house group's and after that she put us into groups of three or four. When she put us into group's we went to each table. Each table had a bunch of science supplies on them. My group was Justin,Tauola,Levi and Samuel. At our first table we had a long string a paper and two plastic cups. We had to make a String Telephone. After that we rotated around the room to different tables. Our next table that we had to move to had beaker science cups and it had water inside of it. 

After Mrs Mopana's class it was morning tea and after morning tea we had to go to Mrs Parker's class room seven.In her class when we came in she told us to sit on the mat in our house groups. After we had sat on the mate we went to different tables. The first table that we went to was with pencils circle colour paper and.There was a hole that was poked in each of them.After that table we rotated around the room and we went to another table that had three torches.We had to go under the table where there was a piece of paper that was stuck to the wall we had to shine all of the torches together and we had to see what colour it made white.

Rugby Game at Pakuranga.

On saturday I had a rugby game against Pakuranga Coug ars.In the morning we were warming up for our rugby game.After all the warm up the game was about to start, well we were waiting the ref came over to us to check if we got everthing we needed.After he had checked us we done a tos with a coin to see who will start the game off first.When we tosed it it landed on the side that we picked but we said we will kick of with the ball.So we kicked of and the pakuranga guy caught the ball he was runing but fineasi caught by the legs.

After some minutes later it was half time.After half time I stayed of on the sideline as sub for ten minutes.When ten minutes was finish I went back on as center.But when I went back on it was a penalty.Pakuranga was running towards me when I tackle him I held on to the ball and pulled it out of his hand’s.When I got the ball I ran frew the pakuranga kids and I got frew them but I got tackled on the leg’s.When I got tackled I placed the ball facing towards our try-line when the forwards came they stepped over me to protect the pakuranga kids from getting the ball.

                                       

The half back came to get the ball and he passe it to the first five to run with the ball but he got tackled.There was 30 seconds left till we lost but we were close to the try-line the first five passed the ball out to the back line when the next guy caught the ball he was running with it and when he was about to get tackled he straight away passed the ball to me and I went to dive for the try.After that we went to see who was going to get takaler of the day and player of the day and the takaler of the day was Fineasi and the player of the day was me.

Red-Pool and Dead-Pool.

Red Pool is Dead Pool’s brother.One time Red Pool and Dead Pool lived together in there own rich pool house.They both had the same powers but sometimes they can level up there powers and unlock some strong one’s for them.One time Red Pool was training his powers in a training lab underground.Dead Pool was having a nap in his bed well Red Pool was training.He trained so hard he went to a new level and unlocked a new ability for him and his new power was invisibility.

After he was training he went upstairs to Deadpool.Well Dead pool was sleeping Red Pool snuck up on him and scared him with his new ability When Dead Pool woke up he said,’’ how did you get a new ability?’’

Red Pool said he trained so hard.

So Deadpool went down to the training lab and trained for five hours.After he trained for five hours he waited till he would unlock a new ability.He was waiting till he unlocked a new ability but nothing came so he waited for the next day.After the next day he still never got his ability but after woulds in the afternoon he went back down to the lab to train one more time and after he trained down in the training lab he got his new ability and his new ability was force field.

After that he went upstairs to Red Pool and he showed him his new ability.When he showed his new ability Red Pool got jealous because that was his dream power to get.

Kiwi Can

Today after morning tea  our class room 10 had Kiwi Can in room 11 with miss Tuia and Mr Numia when we got into room 11 Mr Numia put us into 4 groups.He called the numbers that we were gonna be in as a group we had to do body beats.We had to make beats with our bodies after bodie beats we went outside and got into another 4 groups and we played 4 square the winning team out of all of us was miss Tuias group after 4 square we played handball but with a soccer ball it was 1 on 1 the team that won out of us was our group after that we had a next round.

The team that won that round was miss Tuias team after those 2 rounds we had our last round the team that won the last round was our team after all of that we went back to room 11 for Mr numia to do the point’s.The total of our point’s was 21 after that we went back to class.

Why is there war

You are all descended from people who avoided getting killed before they had children.This is kind of obvious but it is the basis of the theory of evolution.                                                                        

Since humans a social animals and don't tend to survive to well on there own most people a also members of societies survive with out being destroyed.

A MIND GAME
Imagine two groups of people.One group is always fighting and killing each other.The other group is more co-operative and works together to build things, harvest crops and so on.

You can see that the group that is always fighting  won't be able to build anything much more complex than one person can do on there own. No great irrigation schemes no granaries,no schools. In any kind of natural disaster like a famine or earthquake they will be less likely to survive than the group who cooperates.

MADD

Yesterday at MADD we went to sit down to listen to Petia talk about what we are going to do.At MADD we were learning about don’t forget you culture.Sometimes at MADD one person has to stand in the middle and everyone of us has to make a circle and say positive thing about him or her.

At MADD we learnt about seven smart’s.The seven smart were smart,word smart,picture smart,body smart,people smart,music smart and number smart.

And at MADD sometimes we get into groups of our culture’s and do a haka.At MADD when it finished Petia plays a song on his radio and he starts to draw super hero’s in term one the superhero’s he drew was captain america,wonder women,hulk,flash, and superman.

Kiwi Can

Last week at Kiwi Can our class room 10 went there to learn about positive thing’s and how to stop the negative things.At Kiwi Can for the past few week’s we have been being good at Kiwi Can.At Kiwi Can we have been doing some points to see who ever will win and have a feed in Kiwi Can class.

When it was Kiwi Can time we walked to room 11 and had Kiwi Can there we were being so good so we could get the highest score in the school

the class that was leeding was room 7 when we were in Kiwi Can we were waiting till it was finished so we could see the class that has the biggest score.

When Kiwi Can finished we were looking at the teacher do the points well she was doing it we were looking at when she finished we went to look closer and the class that got the most points were our class room 10.

Giant tortoises are from Galapagos island and some come from india

tortoises are very big no one knows how the first tortoise came to live on the galapagos island Tortoises are magnificent creatures even when they are tiny little things and contrary to what most people think, when a tortoise wants to put a spurt on, they can move pretty fast.

It's important to find out everything about the species before you get a tortoise and then to set up the environment to suit them, remembering to invest in the correct lighting system that gives off natural light so you avoid any health problems. Tortoises also like to hibernate so it's vital to find out all about this process and then not to disturb your pet when they do go into hibernation, and then be ready for when they wake up again.

Argument writing about the sea

Rubbish does not belong in the sea

When people are at the beach and eat their food, they should not throw their rubbish in the sea because when the tides come in it takes the rubbish to the sea.

Fishing boats should make sure they take big bins for their rubbish and not throw their rubbish into the sea. They should bring their rubbish back with them to land.

There should be fines for people who are caught throwing their rubbish around because most of the rubbish flows to the drains when it rains and it ends up in the sea. 

The rubbish which is washed to sea ends up killing the sea life. This is not good because if the sea life keep dying then the sea will no longer be a nice place for the environment.
